Who is True North Artistry?
True North Artistry is a Luxury Eyelash Extension Experience, Product Supplier, and an Exclusive Lash Training Academy. The operations of True North Artistry consist of, but not limited to, eyelash extension services and products, training/mentoring passionate new artists, mentoring and preparing other entrepreneurs and small businesses by giving them the skills needed to lay solid foundation, build and flourish in our Small Business 101 Course.
We are known for operating with professionalism, integrity, and high-quality customer service. We pride ourselves on going deeper than just lashes when it comes to customer relations, striving to create an experience for each client and consumer, and ensuring everyone feels like they are more than just a number.
We are also well-known for ensuring that each client receives customized/high-quality services, products and training at a fair cost while never compromising integrity.
We pride ourselves on always focusing on staying true to who we are, not allowing the fast growth of the business to have any bearing on how we operate, support, create and empower others.
Starting Point of True North Artistry
True North Artistry is, unfortunately, and fortunately, a biproduct of grief. February 17, 2018 life as I knew it was changed permanently, my only sibling, a Navy decorated sailor was killed by a drunk driver while on his motorcycle during a leisure ride near home/base where his wife and 4 children awaited his return.
It felt, and still at times, exactly how it sounds, horrific and traumatic.
Coming from a small immediate family of only 4, you can imagine that we are extremely close, so losing him equated to suddenly losing a limb. How could I go back to double booked meetings and calls, living out of my suitcase for weeks at a time, and managing my sites with hundreds of collective concerns and performance metrics? Mentally and emotionally impossible, so I took
a long-term leave. I spent most of my leave in Texas taking a stab at healing with family. While there my sister-in-law had this random idea to attend lash extension school as a way to keep busy. Let’s be clear I was a cardigan/button up and slacks, natural, no makeup, classic lash extension wearing corporate Operation Manager, FAR from any beauty influencer or guru.
So, obviously this was well out of my scope, but I leaped in anyway.
I FELL IN LOVE! Fell in love with the attention to detail it takes where I could zone out and create, the people I had the opportunity to meet, the flexibility it allowed, and the beautiful reward at the end of each individual set.
Out of the ugliest point of my life, came the creation of BEAUTY and True North Artistry. So, my brand is beyond personal to me, and far beyond what words could ever express. I seek to bring honor, continue a legacy, while simultaneously providing quality services, and products with the highest level of integrity.
No matter how largely we expand and grow, we will always seek to provide that family warmth, and feel.
